graphics problem

Im getting lines of dots in the company introductions to games, some game movies are running badly. This i can deal with however im also getting colour problems with lighting effects in far cry and very slow loading, 4 sec pauses when new textures are loading. Occasional texture problems in counter strike.

I first emailed gainward, these said it was a memory problem and that i should send me graphics card back. However since swaping the graphics card with the one in system 2 the problem is still there. also both graphics cards work find in system 2. I have swapped the memory round..still no results. Flashed motherboard and graphics cards. Tryed different drivers. Help.....im going to kick it across the room. Thanks

Farcry uses a lot of system memory.
It can lag from time to time, even for those with 512mb, because of it swaping files from HDD to RAM etc.
I have 1gb and don't notice this though.

Sometimes if grahpics card memory is too hot it will get artifacts on the screen. Dots. Is your system cool enough? Not talking CPU temp but case temp.
Don't use AA/AF in the control panel. Sometimes it can cause artifacts with some games. I only turn AA/AF on in game settings if available.

True far cry does eat the memory but i played it on my m8s pc ..lower spec than mine and its fine...ever at high settings.....its stopping on mine ever on low settings..... will try other setting altho i think they might already be turn off thanks
