Hi folks, this is probably in the wrong forum :P but I cant find a more suitable one.

I have a VCD (on a disc) that I can play on my laptop using VLC, but when I stick it into my DVD player it displays 'VCD60' on the screen and doesn't play. My player can play other VCDs and SVCDs (on screen it displaysVCD1.1, or VCD2.0, or SVCD), and when I insert a KVCD it displays SVCD and plays fine.

So my question is, "what is a VCD60"? I've done searches on here and on google and come up with zilch. Thanks!

Here a user mentions that 90 and 99 minute VCDs are identified as VCD60.

    Maybe that's useful to ya...

Thanks for the link. At least I now have some clue as to what it might mean (although the VCD it thinks is a VCD60 is a plain old 700MB one...).

I will keep searching. Thanks again.
