Both computers are able to access the internet quickly but sending files between the two computers(as I stated in my last thread) takes about 45 to 50 minutes to transfer 2 GB worth of files. Does this number sound right or what? I am using a Linksys BEFW11S4 broadband router which is supposed to be capable of handling up to 11mbps. Both printers can "see" each other but just aren't sending things quickly. I used the XP network setup wizard and chose the option for having my modem connected to my router and then all of the computers connected to my router. It went to install it and I got and error setting up the network screen. So I tried again and the second time always works for some reason but as I said before something seems funny to me. Any suggestions, have I not configured my router properly or my PC's properly...what???
    Thanks.

Well I think I may have figured out what part of the problem is. I just don't know the solution. When I go into Network Settings I have my LAN and my 1394 connections there. However, I am only using the LAN card for connecting to the interenet and between computers, not my 1394 connection. However, when I go to set up the network, it says that my computer uses the LAN to connect to the internet and my computer accesses the network VIA the 1394 connection which is not true. I can't seem to get around this and this appears to be the root of my networking problem. If you can help PLEASE do,
    Thanks
