I am seeking recommendations on a good VCD authoring application that will allow me to create a VCD that will have DVD style menus, but that I also can create a autoplay PC CD. A CD that will autoplay in both a DVD player and a PC CD drive.

I have downloaded the Nero Burning ROM trial and found that this does do what I have described. I was able to add a command to the AUTORUN.INF that will start a menu utility that allows the the end-user to choose to play the video, install a codec, open a web site, etc.

Nero Burning ROM will create a VCD with the DVD style menus and allow for the adding of extra files, but the DVD menu choices are somewhat plain.

I have been using DVD MovieFactory 2 and it has been OK. I have read the reviews of the Nero 6 Ultra Edition on www.pcmag.com and found the user opinions to be mostly negative. Can anyone give me some other choices that meet my needs and reasons why it's good?
