I have tried converting an xvid with ac3 to mpeg2 to put on DVD using tmpgenc. The result seems to be a little jerky. It is only noticable on scrolling text or when something smooth moves across the screen, like a spaceship flying through space. I have my settings below.
Also, is there a way I can make the audio on the DVD ac3? I am using Tmpg DVD Author, but it seems to only accept PCM or mp2.
Thanks
Allan

Settings on the AVI? Your TMPG settings are for a 3-CDR AVI.
To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan -
The avi has the following settings (from VirtualDub)
frame size: 576x432 23.976fps
decomp: xvid mpeg-4
Is that what you need?
What do you mean, my tmpg settings are for a 3-cdr avi?
Thanks
Allan
