Hey everyone.. I'm kind of new to converting video files to DVD... I know how to put them on a disc and everything, the only problem I seem to be having is that the way I am doing it, the disc can only hold about 100 minutes of footage. Is there any way I could condense that? I am using TMPGEnc and DVDShrink... I know about using DVD shrink, but I don't want to lose the quality... Any thoughts? THanks for your help.

Lower the video bitrate in TMPGEnc.
If you are currently using LPCM (uncompressed audio) consider switching to MPEG-II or AC3 instead, that will save you a significant amount of space (space you can use for more video), but MPEG-II may not play on your DVD player, you should test first. TMPGEnc does MPEG-II natively, and there are tools like BeSweet for AC3.
If you're only getting 100mins worth of space, you must be using upwards of 5-6000 for a bitrate? If you want more space, lower that number.
Or, use DVDShrink when it's completed. -
Well, in my book, you've already exceeded the max for uncompressed video. Any more and youo'll begin to loose quality although shrink will do a very good job preserving quality if you use deep analisys.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -
