  1. does anyone have a guide for the best capturing settings using virtual dub so it comes out the best quality capturing tv etc

    Have you checked out the 'How to' column here under 'capture'/'virtualdub'? If you can't find what you want there, you might try a Google search or go to the Virutaldub website. Just off the top of my head, you can capture with Huffy if you have a lot of harddrive space or Pic Video if not. Really depends on your capture card, your CPU speed, your HD speed and space.
