hi,
What is the easiest way to do this and is there a freeware program I can get?
Thanks,
Joe.

This method works for me. You'll need to edit the tracks out of the huge WAV file that will be created. It's a bit of work, but you'll be pleased with the results.

You could use DVD Audio Extractor. Works well and in just a few clicks I have working WAV, MP3, etc., files.

#Thanks again all. I dowloaded ac3tool10.exe but the DVD Audio Extractor points to a bad link.
I managed this last night (in a rough way) by using Cool Edit Pro to Extract from Video (under File option). It opens the whole DVD *VTS file which you then have to edit which bit you want, but hey, it worked. -
DVD audioripper from I think ImToo also works great. you can go up to 320 kb mp3.
