I just dug out and dusted off my wife's old Philips CD Recorder that I needed to use. I still have some Music CD-R's luckily but something got me thinking.
Is there a way....via computer perhaps....to make regular CD-R's compatible in a CD Recorder that only accepts the "Music" versions?

    Just curious....

Nah. Basically, it's pressed (commercial) vs. burned (dye).

  3. I've read some tricks about using cd-r instead of audio-cdr I don't exactly remember but you insert an audio cdr and then press 'pause' and replace the audio cdr by a cdr, but as I have no audio cdr burner I can't be sure
