  1. Anyone notice any real difference between the two? Will the drag of encoding video and working on other things be eliminated? I'm thinking of upgrading from a 2.2 ghz to 2.8 and overclocking it to 3.4 ghz. TIA

    HT makes a big difference in apps that support it, such as TMPGenc!

    Can't beat the P4HT in TMPGenc.

    To clarify: you can beat HT with SMP. My 1900s can probably encode something in TMPGEnc faster than a 3.06 GHz HT P4. In fact I know it can. Two processors will usually beat out HT. However two processors with HT...
