I have a mpeg2 file which is 24fps NTSC(TMPGEnc shown). I used the method which vcdhelp.com shown to convert it to mpeg1 file. But the output mpeg1 file had a big audio problem which a large audio lag on it. Besides, i found that the video part is shorter(or slow)than the audio part, such as 1 min audio part had played and only 51 second video part were played ( i know that coz i have watched the mpeg2 by PowerDVD). I had tried many different frame rate while converting by TMPGEnc, but it still not work.
Can anybody help me?...Thanks a lot
    I used TMPGEnc, DVD2AVI, Virtualdub...

    Thanks hitechjunkie,

I have tried all default settings at TMPGEnc(VCD PAL,NTSC,NTSCFilm),but the results were same[I had not completely encoded the files, i only did part of it coz it is very large. Would it affect the result?].
Besides, TMPGEnc can read the mpeg2 file now, can i convert the mpeg2 file to mpeg1 directly without using DVD2AVI?
And the problem should be audio lead the video...51 second mpeg2 video had been converted to 1 min mpeg1....THANKS
