i have tried Virtual dub and nanadub and AVMUx
they have syc problems and AVIMUX wont open it
HELP!!!

then u have to manually Sync it, many times u will have to do this for DVD rips. http://www.doom9.org should have a tutorial in the GUIDES section.

I have tried but it is impossible, it dont work hey
any other ideas? -
ive had to do it several times and have found it very easy, sorry, no other ideas. i hav done Gladitaor and Saving Private Ryan, took a bit of figuring out and they were difficult but after about 5 mins i got it down perfect =)

i msut say that has pissed me off, dam you!, i have been trying everyhting and still fuks up

Try and break it down to a smaller file, or 1/2 hour clip and
test it to see if it still de-synchs! Can be many factors,i.e,
* adding new frames
* cutting in the wrong place
* joining in the wrong place
* clip is just too long (for your sys. spec)
* sound card config +/- sys. spec
* etc.
Just cut the dam clip in half somewhere, ...maybe where it transitions
or where sound cuts out or fades out or something, etc.
How are you getting your source?
* Is it from a cap to avi or dvd rip or somthing?
* How are you arriving at your mpeg? ...hardware mpeg?
