I'm attempting to export my SoundForge settings (Paragraphic EQ especially). I want to put the same settings on a new PC, as well as provide a download of settings on my site.

But I cannot find them. I've copied the program folders and even extracted the whole 'Sonic Foundry' registry key to the new PC. Still no Paragraphic EQ settings (though the normalize settings are in the registry, and moved over fine).

    Anybody have any idea?

I've got at least 50 custom filters, not really looking forward to remaking them one by one.

  2. I know settings exist in

    \Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Sonic Foundry

    (or Sony)

    in Windows XP.

There's also a Sony migration utility that lets you move your settings and plugins from one PC to another but I'm not too familiar with how it works.

    It's found in

    \Program Files\Sony\Shared Plug-Ins\Utilities\Migration Tools\

(assuming you're running the version 7, otherwise this probably will not apply)

I found it... after a lot of looking. You know, that Sony site kinda sucks when it come to organization.

Anyway, the PRESET MANAGER was not on my SF disc, but is online for free download at the Sony site.

I used that, got all my presets in a 30kb file.
