I have the TMPGEnc QuickTime plugin, and when it use it, it works very well.
but there is one minor problem with it...
it shows the source video as having a 600fps frame rate...
why does it do this?
is there any way i can change some settings so that it will show the true framerate of the .mov file i am converting... ?

It shouldn't matter as long as your destination mpeg comes out fine. Does it not?
