  1. I took a 710mb avi.
    Vdub-mp3'd it - no errors.
Extracted audio stream with Vdub - all OK.
Converted it to mpeg with tmpgenc (split into two equal files) - again, no errors.
Then used VCDEasy to burn to blank 80min. CD - no problems reported.

Tried playing on DVD player - nope! Tried playing on PC DVD rom - nope! Tried playing on PowerDVD player on PC - worked!

What have I done wrong? I wanna play the CD in my DVD player. Arrgh!

    Thanks in advance for help.

I guess the first thing to check is that your DVD player plays SVCDS ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

Ooop! What a wingnut - never thought to check if my DVD player supported SVCD! Bugger!

That doesn't explain why my DVD-rom didn't support it via wmp9, but I suppose I should try the CD's on a DVD player that does support SVCD.

    Sorry guys!
