  1. Hi it's me again
thought i was done with my DVD but before i could take my masterpiece out of the burner this error message popped up:

Does anyone have a clue how to fix this one?
It's a birthday present so I don't have much time (one more day)...

    Thanks

  3. I don't use Ulead DVD workshop. I do use Ulead Video Studio 7 to edit
my movies then use SonicMyDvd to burn the movies. There are excellent
guides in the "How To" section and I believe there is a guide using ULead Dvd workshop. I hope this helps

  4. Try burning the ISO from workshop with another burning app, record now max or nero. I found the burning engine in workshop to be rather troublesome.

  5. What are the precise video/audio properties of your source media?

For example, I sometime work with DV .avi clips, which I convert to MPEG-2 for authoring.

After the conversion, my clips have the following precise video/audio properties:

    NTSC drop frame (29.97 fps)
    MPEG files
    24 Bits, 720 x 480, 29.97 fps
    Field Order A
    (DVD-NTSC), 4:3
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 8264 kbps)
    LPCM Audio, 48 KHz, Stereo

How do the properties of your video/audio compare?

Have you adjusted your Ulead DVD WORKSHOP project settings to match the properties of the source clips?

    In general, I recommend this.

I explain how in my step-by-step tutorial on the Web page at the following link:

  6. What this error means is you have entered a chapter point that exceeds the number of frames.

Is the format in NTSC 23.98fps?? Because thats when this error occurs, you need to delete a few of the last chapters, so delete the very last chapter and if you still get the error then delete the last chapter again and keep deleting chapters until you don't see this error.

  7. no I'm not using NTSC but PAL standard (25fps). I've already tried to remove the last chapters but it didn't work but i fixed it this way:

You suggest demultiplexing in DVDLab. How about demultiplexing in TMPGEnc? Would that work, too?

  9. never used TMPGEnc, I'm new to video editing and DVD authoring

  10. I would suggest that you bring this issue to the attention of Ulead's technical suppor team.

    Log-in here:

    http://www.ulead.com/tech/suppform.htm

This will give you access to the e-mail technical support request form.

When I have completed/sent this form in the past, I have received a response within one week.

    Another item to check:

Did you install the latest update patch?

The update patch for Ulead DVD Workshop 2.0 can be downloaded from the Web page at the following link:

    http://www.ulead.com/tech/dws/dws_ftp.htm

    Hope this helps,
