Hi everybody,
I have an AMD Athlon 3000+ and need a really powerful heatsink fan.
I have around £30-£40 to spend and would like people to tell me what they recommend is the best for keeping my computer as cool as possible.
thanks

I would suggest a Thermaltake SLK 800U.
Some may suggest a zalmans though I perfer the SLK series.
I have my SLK800U running with a quiet 2200RPM fan on it.
32C idle / 36C avg / 40C load

I just bought one myself. Although I have not been able to test it extensively yet, I am happy so far. I think it looks wicked cool regardless.
Only problem is, its heavy as a <bleeping> <bleep> so it may not be a good choice if you move your computer alot. And it will not fit on all motherboards. Go to their website to check out if your's will.

I use SLKs with 80mm fans. Never had any troubles with them. Would also suggest Swiftechs.
