  1. guys, im looking for some ideas on good movie editing software. i have the adaptec a2310 dvd media center for capturing TV etc. I want to add special effects, what software does this....i.e a bolt of light (like a laser) being fired, this kinds stuff, but basic.....ideas and thought appreciated Gordon.
    AMD 2200+ (1.83ghz), 512DDR PC2700 (333mhz)
    160GB Hitachi 7,200rpm 1mb cache, 80GB Western Digital/7,200rpm HD
    ATI Radeon 9600xt 128mb 8x, KT4 Ultra FSB 333 AGP 8X/ D bracket

    Premier will do all that and more. It is not easy to learn, but if you're a fast learner and have a good imagination, then that is the S\W you want.
    Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

    if you want a software that is more stable , more features , and easier to learn than premiere, (plus much better audio support)- look at using Sony Vegas ..


    but for want you want to do -- Sony Screenblast might be a better choice ..

    i would upgrade 6.0 to 6.5 asap ....
