Hi I want to capture old 8mm from my old camcorder to my new DV but am not sure if my new one supports it. I read here that it is possible to hook up my 8mm analog camcorder to the dv and capture the video that way. I have several output jacks on my DV camera but am not sure how this would be done. I couldn't find anything regarding this in the manual. My DV is a Samsung SCD23. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if your samsung dv camcorder manual tells you how to capture from a vcr, just substitute your analog camcorder for the vcr in the hookup.
