I'm looking into buying a card for capturing from VHS. The problem is my VCR is an older model with only coaxial input/output, but all the cards I've considered seem to be for S-Video and Composite Video. Can anyone recomend a card that would allow me to connect my VCR? Would an RF modulator work? Thanks in advance

When did the word "beer-drinking" become an insult anyhow? I get these letters that start out, "Why don't you and your beer-guzzling buddies go and . . ." It takes YEARS of practice to guzzle. What's so dang wrong with it?

You need a card that also has a TV tuner in this case. ("TV card") There are many different models. For an older computer, you probably want a card that has hardware encoder such as the Hauppauge PVR-250/350.

How old is this VCR? I still have a 22 year old top-loading VHS tank that has composite video and audio outputs.
