  1. I have just copied a dvd to DVD-r and although it played on the computer fine it will not on my home player. I use Any DVD and cloneDVD as I have many times before but this latest one plays the video of the movie but has a commentary by the director instead of the soundtrack!. The original works fine of course. I have tried changing the sound witht he menus but it is still the same. Any ideas. Could this be a form of copyright protection?. I have heard that there is a new region code protection on some of the latest movies could this be it?.

  2. The copy plays fine on your PC with the correct audio but only with the commentary stream on your standalone? Are you sure you can't change it? Are you sure that you didn't strip the main audio and leave just the commentary and THAT is what you are hearing on both PC and standalone?
No, I'm from Iowa. I only work in outer space.

  3. No the movie plays fine on the computer with the correct soundtrack. Once it is copied and burned to disk the soundtrack turns to a narration by the director?. I have even tried playing the movie from the file on my hardrive and it is fine on the computer!. Strange or what?. I have ripped it just the same as I have with all the others I have done so there should be no problem really.
