I have a broadband connection in the UK I get free webspace for, but the service has been utter shite and I need to switch my site to someone more reliable.
I registered with BT on their PAYG and having finally uploaded was faced with a huge ugly geocities advert weverytime I viewed my site (which I just can't have).
I'll either pay a modest some for something like 20mb or register with someone on a PAYG 56k dial-uop account if the webspace they give doesn't come with pop-ups.
I'm ditching the boradband shortly, that's why I'm going back to dial-up, I can't afford it anymore.
    Thanks for any pointers.

150m.com is a free service. We can offer our services for free because 150m.com is advertiser sponsored. This means that a banner advertisement will be placed on 150m.com web pages. We hope this will not intrude too much on your web page.

    I don't want the adverts.

That looks like the kinda thing I'm after, but I only really need the space, I don't know what half of that spec means.
Does this mean I won't need web and mail forwarding.
At the minute I divert anyone looking at www.mysite.com to www.mysite.freeserve.com and similaly anyone sending an email to willhay@mysite.com gets diverted to willhay@freeserve.com.
Would I not need to do any of that?
If someone wants to look at www.mysite.com is that what this web-mania company hosts?
I'm also confused about the POP3 email and unlimited email addresses.
Again, are these all directly related to wwww.mysite.com?
    Thanks again for the link.
