where does it say it ends today ? it has not even started yet - though i smell an april fools joke ...

weird thing is that all the news services are carring the story and saying for sure its not a joke ...

no one should really launch anything on april 1 if its legit ..

Business Wire approved it for issue and Reuters and other media ran stories. I guess we'll see tomorrow!

  5. 2. How much does Gmail cost?

Gmail is a free service and includes 1,000 megabytes of storage with each account. However, Gmail is still in preview mode as we test it to work out the kinks. So for now, it's not generally available.

Google plans to make money from the service by inserting advertisements into messages based in part on their content, effectively extending its AdWords program for presenting contextual ads in Web pages to e-mail.

Looks like they need to give you a gig if they are going to insert advertisments in every email you recieve based on it's content. I hate spam, why would I want google to insert and advertisment in each one of emails I receive from my aunts, uncles, and cousins? They also say that yahoo is 4mb, it's actually 6mb.
