    hi i have a avi movie and when i play it i get video but no sound.. (playing through wmp and winamp) so i put the file through g spot and it says i have the codecs to play this. when i put the file to rendre i get "render partial failure " any ideas guys thanxs

    sounds like the same problem i have if anyone can help its doing my head in.No matter which programme i convert from avi to mpeg with film converts fine but there is no sound whatsoever
    anyone help us pleeeeeeeeease

    What sort of audio does Gspot say you have ? AC3 , Mpeg1Layer3 .
    Also what software are you using to encode ?

    sorted it thanxs i had to put it through v/dub and made a wav thanxs again
