  2. Isnt the point of watercooling to eliminate the fans? Yet I see so many pictures with at least 1-2 fans in the case plus 1-2 fans on the radiator which many times is in the PC.

So what is the point of water cooling when you still have like 4 fans in the computer anyway?

eliminating fans is one of the aims
and you can run a pc just on watercooling
but as the majority of the people who watercool also overclock their components they also use fans to keep the pc cool
as running the cpu gpu etc at higher speeds than they are meant to be run means lots of excess heat

a lot of people who watercool often only use it on the cpu they need the case fans for the rest of the case motherboard graphics card etc

Why would I flame anyone kind enough to post a link to a website that has images of computers that look like they came out of a David Cronenburg film?

I can almost hear Debbie Harry telling me to come closer as the computer begins to breath ...

See I was staying away from this thread due to how retarded it is but you just HAD to mention my name didn't you?

Anyone who water cools a computer is an ubber geek mad scientist in training ... I'm sure there is a government agency watching you now.

is this meant in a good way as in they are going to employ you and pay you lots of money or that they are going to take you away in a straight jacket

The movie reference was mostly VIDEODROME

I didn't see the thread until just today so I am confused as to why you have a bazillion posts that all say the same thing. What's up with that hehehe

it all looks great and performs well, but me personally, i wouldnt want to use an electricly powered device which is cooled by water, leaks can and do occur, and then it aint big and it definately aint pretty. if i want faster computer, id rather go out n buy a faster cpu or more memory, upgraded mb than be running a computer full of water, but thats just my personal opinion.
