  1. its prolly a really simple question but im so tired right now nothings making sense

    turning on ogm file into an svcd ripped the audio blablabla
    converting the video stream

    heres my question i have the audio stream in goldwave and it tells me the audio is PCM 16bit,48000hz, 1536kbps, stereo

    now when im converting the video and choosing the videos bitrate does it matter if i choose 1600kbps? or should i choose 1536kbps like the audio?
    i mean they're both going at 29.97 fps does the bitrate matter?

    cuz when i did the video at 1600 and multiplexed them back, im not 100% positive but it looks like it might be the slightest bit out of sync but you can barely even notice it.

    im not gonna change this file if its the case of the bitrate, ill just kepp it in mind for the next ogm file i convert, since i can barely notice it.

    and my second question is what would be a good resolution to change 640x388 into? cuz that res doesnt work on my tv for some reason :/

    640->480 seems to much :/

    The first thing you should do is check the duration of both your audio and video streams. If they are slightly off, use Goldwave to "time warp" the audio so it matches the video duration. Secondly, video and audio bitrates don't relate to a/v synchronization. Lastly, if you are making an SVCD(and you live in North America) you have to use a resolution of 480x480. Just make sure you go to the setting dialog and on the advanced tab choose "Full Screen(keep aspect ratio)" for the video arrange method.
