error msg

i get the following error msg when i am trying to endcode--------------illigal decimal point calculation--------------okies what is this and how do i fix it pleaseeeeeeeeeee????

Turn off all irrelevant background applications and don't use your computer while encoding.
If the problem persists, I think it signifies bad frames. Note the timecode and look at the source video at that point, edit any problematic frames, re-encode.
Beyond this, ?????

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL, EDIT FRAMes huh.......never done that before but what the heck i am game. i only get that stupid msg on the first part of the avi that i am trying to encode not the 2nd part. oh well, thanks for the information and like i said i am game to try and fix this...........
