Pioneer cannot write cd

I have a Pioneer 106 which copies dvds fine using Shrink however whenever I want to copy a cd using Clone CD it will not read it anymore. Anyone please have any ideas.

I just started having the same problem with my Lite-On 411S. I can backup DVD's and data on DVD+/-R's all day long, but when I go to burn a CD-R, Record Now Max tells me "please insert blank meida". Have you upgraded any software lately? I noticed this problem after Adobe Acrobat 6 recommended I install some patches. I also had to reinstall drivers for my HP printer after this "patch upgrade".
