Is there a technique for minimizing flicker on the resulting video when capturing Super 8 film through the use of a film projector and videotaping it using a Digital 8 videocam? Are there filters in software to facilitate this process? Any suggestions?

Benny, . . . I cannot answer the tecchie "Why???" but I do believe if you have a friend that has an 8mm Sony analog, you may be more pleased with the results.
I have done several for friends with my old Sony, and flicker never really was much of a problem.
May God bless,

- I can't remember which s/w has this but there is an anti-'bulb' filter around - e.g. when you project film, the center is brighter b/c of the way the bulb is shaped - this filter reverses that to balance the picture (the $$ devices avoid this by lighting the film from behind dimly and letting you record that directly).
I think if you search around in the forums here you will find more - did you try that yet?"As you ramble on through life, brother, whatever be your goal - keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole."
