Which Program Do I Use ?

I am trying to create a CD with a number of JPEG's & hopefully a backing audio track(s) as well. I need the final CD product to be VCD or DVD or compatible with most players. I know that Microsoft Powerpoint will work but I am wondering if there are any other programs out there ....that are user friendly. I also need to use more than 1 Audio Track with the final Slide presentation.

Can someone please HELP !!!!!!!
