  1. thanks to all for the help,this site rules. But..how do i get my svcd's to continue from disc 1 to disc 2...EG:Star Wars..3cdr's 45min,45min,27min resectively. I have to manually skip the disc and hit play...store bought Dvd's will keep going. what do they have that i dont?. thanks for any help you can give me on this.

  2. Nevermind....I just read somewhere that there is no way of encoding or burning or authoring any svcd to do what i want. bummer..that would have been a nice feature....and yes..my DVD player does support it..just not for svcd's..thanks anyway.

  3. Hold on a sec...

    I think you've misinterpreted the other post.

    There is no way of getting a S/VCD to AUTOSTART (that is, start playing as soon as you put it in) if the player doesn't already support it.

    But you CAN author a multi-disc VCD set to automatically start the next disc once the previous one has finished...

    This can be done with VCDImager. Unfortunately, as I don't have a multi-disc player, I don't have any experience in doing this. If you read the VCDImager manual (http://www.vcdimager.org ) then you find some info on it.
