    Aaarghhh!!!
    I encoded movie using TMPend/FFDshow to elemntary streams (using previously separated audio from virtualdub).
    Authored DVD and waited...
    End result perfect sound, perfect picture BUT picture was running at 2x speed.
    Anyone know what I have set wroing somewhere - I'l also start this as a new thread soon to help future searchers

    Have tried TMPGenc, CCE, Mainconcept, virtualdub and AVI2DVD.
    Will try FFDshow but really need advice on how (or if it's worth) trying to repair the file

    Ref fast video - problem appears to be IFOEdit - reauthored using TMPGEnd and sample was perfect (at last!!) Am encoding entire movie at the moment.
    Hopefully we're there - phew
