    well im using this ridata -R. i've tried to use dvd decryptor, nero 6., & alcohol 120 to make a copy from a copy. they all always fail. the sticky at the top says it's possible.

    decyptor gives me message in pic #1



    any solutions to this problem ar these just shitty discs ???

    any help will be appreciated 8)

    The only time I'v had this prob was from a dvd that was made on a standalone recorder by a friend on the same media I allways use - gave up in the end

  4. This is just a media problem, can't read some part and stops.
    My 2cents advice : always do data verification after burn, that's is the best way to know if a dvd was well burnt or not. And that's why I've throw a lot of dvd in my trash bin.
    you can always try with a recovery data soft (cd data rescue for example)

  5. My friend just complained about his NEC 2500 being a poor reader, always gets unrecovered read errors where his other burner (an LG4040) succeeds...

  6. yeah - it's more than likely just the NEC drive. I've just swopped mine for the 107.

  7. I guess you can try extracting with ISO Buster and then burn what you extracted. I have been able to recover stuff that I couldn't otherwise. Its worth a shot.

  8. Might be a dirty disk too. Clean it with water & pat dry.

    isobuster diidnt help me unfortunently.
    so do any of u guys get this error...




    hopefully u can read that. that is what i got when i turned "DEBUG" on in dvd decrypt.
