I have web server that runs IIS4. It serves asp pages using data from an SQL database. I create accounts for people and use windows authentication.
For nearly all my accounts, there is no problem, people can log in and browse my site.
For a few accounts, the log on screen doen't appear, but they get directed to a custom error page I created.
I cannot understand why some accounts behave like this. I suspect it is the client side browser (All running IE4 through 6). I've tried emptying the cache on the client's pc, altered the connection to refresh each time the page is visited. Even set the privacy to minimal settings, but still no joy. This even has the IT guys stumped where I work.
Can anyone please shed any light on what the problem is.
Thanks
Ironballs

All I can think of Active X controls in there browsers..??
Off Topic but
Where or how do you set up your SQL database. I'm in the process of trying to get my site up and can't figure out the "MySQL" program, through www.lunarpages.com. You know of any tutorials that might help me??
Thanks -
No active X controls in my asp pages at all, the server sends plain old vanilla html.
Can't help with mySQL, I used SQL Server.
Thanks for trying Smokey, and yep nice pic!
