    Hi

Im trying to convert some episodes of survivor from avi to dvd but have encountered strange problems using tmpgenc.

All of the first episodes encoded fine and and had no problems with audio being synced, but lately it starts off just out of sync at the beginning of the episode and gradually the video gets away from the audio, by the end of the episode the audio is sometimes 3 seconds behind video.

Ive tried the various ways using toolame with tmpg and also saving the wav from virtualdub to use with tmpg, nothing works.

Any other fairly fast programs turn avi into dvd or can something be done with tmpg.

    Thats avi properties in virtualdub.

    thanks

  2. Do a file information in virtualdub to see if the audio is shorter than the video. Or check for bad frames.

If it's gradually getting worse and worse, maybe the audio needs to be stretched (sounds as if it's running too long)/compressed into the same time as the actual video.
