compile 11gig project then re-encode/transcode to 4.7gig?

need help! i have a 11gig project file that i need to compile to video_ts folder so i can then use dvdshrink or recode to transcode down to dvd-5/4.7gig...or use dvd rebuilder to re-encode using CCE for slower, but higher quality results. based on the high bitrate of source material, either transcoding or re-encoding would still result in high quality ouptut on dvd-5. **the problem is ulead dvd movie factory and dvd workshop and sonic mydvd fail during compile once they hit the dual layer 9.4gig size!!! i'm guessing that the programmers never intended anyone to compile nonstandard dvd sizes with the intention of transcoding/re-encoding them back to fit dvd.

**anybody have experience trying this and success with a program that will compile over 9.4gig of material???

tmpgenc dvd author, just click ignore when it complain about the size.

or reencode before authoring with cce, tmpgenc,mainconcept.

does dvd author have ability for motion background menu w/custom audio and also motion buttons (like mydvd, dws3,etc)?

much easier to use dvd rebuilder "one click" w/CCE on video_ts folder or just transcode w/shrink/recode,etc vs re-encoding each file before hand, i think.
