  1. Hey all,

For my wedding next month, I have created an Enhanced Cd using Roxio EasyCd Creator. It contains 10 audio tracks and an mpeg. It burned perfectly. I can play the audio portion in any regular cd player, as well as access the .mpeg from any computer. This is exactly what I wanted.

However, for those that aren't computer litereate, i thought it would be even better to have the mpeg auto start when in the PC. Now, i have been reading and there seem to be different methods, but what may be the simples, most direct way of adding the autostart feature to this cd?

    Would it be the "[autorun]
open=mplayer2.exe /play /close \yourmovie.mpg" type deal, or should i utilize a program that uses an autostart.exe type deal? I am lookig for a real simple command line.

I really appreciate your help - especially since this is for my Wedding next month....

    Thank you,

    Matt

This may not work for a number of reasons:

    1. Is the MPLAYER in %PATH% so it can be found? Is it on the user's computer at all?
    2. MPLAYER2 is probably ok, but MPLAYER is diff between 95/98/ME and NT/2k/XP. Could be problems there.
    3. Will "open" pass the command line switches and filename to the MPLAYER program? More problems.

Read my past posts on the subject, and you'll find a number of alternatives.
