  1. I'm a newbie. I run on a mac OSX. Is there a simple way to get rid of forced trailers that play before the menu? For instance, on "The Rundown," two trailers play while the skip and menu buttons are disabled.
Currently I'm using DVD Backup and compressing in DVD2One.

  2. Well, sorry I can't help you too much since I don't run a mac, but I know that for DVDShrink there's an option in there to disable the forced options (like disabling menu). Check to see if your software has it.

And while it won't save you all the grief, usually FF/RW aren't disabled, so you can at least get through the trailers fairly quickly.
