My father has conected his PAL Samsung DVD-E232 (which is region free) with a scart cable to his PAL video player and this is then connected to a old B&O TV. When playing a PAL DVD everything is fine. but when he plays a NTSC DVD the picture jumps around. The same when I play a DVD-R film. Any ideas? One thing that I thought that might be causing it is the NTSC to PAL conversion that the player is supposed to be capable of. I was thinking otherwise that the NTSC DVD is not being converted to a PAL signal, which would explain the garbled picture after the PAL video player. Or could it be that the video player will not accept NTSC films being channeled through it?
