Alright, I have the samsung HD-931 DVD player and its pretty awesome. But the problem I am having is getting a standerdized version of what the xbox and most dvd's players require.

I am trying to copy the same movie, that works for me, for a friend.

I reencoded the NTSC files in 720x480(which should be a legit resolution for dvd's). I re encode the audio to 48k and its an MP2 file.

I then load both of the REENCODED files into SIZZLE and each video file has their audio file linked with it. Well it seems that I have run into a problem still, because it STILL wont play on my buddies xbox. Is this because it NEEDS to be in PAL resolution (720x576)? Or does sizzle just not do the trick for me.

I have both a mac and a PC, and the pc takes to damn long to do all the encoding and such. So anyone know why the xbox and sony DVP-C660 dont play it.

and I have made perfect backups of DVD's w/ dvd-r before. And they played fine on the xbox.

Thanks

PS the video bitrate on re encode is 3750 and its NTSC. I have tried about 15 different encodes now and the DVD-R are getting expensive. Stupid xbox wont read anything else. Just trying to find a standard version so it plays on all of my friends DVD players. And I have two forms of MEDIA. Imation 4x DVD-R (used for buddies) and MAC DvD-R(used for me). is it all an audio issue? The MENU loads fine in the xbox, but it wont play the movie
