I believe you can't copy a copy using DVDXCopy if the first copy was made by DVDXCopy.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. yeah seems like it
i tested it out, trying to make extra copies with both nero and roxio and both times it stopped reading the source disc at about 80%....

    is there anyone around this?

i wont be using dvdxcopy anymore...i wish i knew this before

Why can't you just backup the original again ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

I've had backups that I've had trouble duplicating with Roxio and Nero, but it's usually because of a minor problem with the original backup, but one that may not show up in playback. Generally though, an X Copy backup can be copied with Nero or Roxio. If you DO manage to make another backup of the original DVD, you probably won't have a problem making a copy of that.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.

  7. I have used NTI Gold version 6 many times backing up a DVD X Copy backup with no problems. I however never tried my Nero yet.
