  1. I converted 5 vcd's following the proceedure using the guide. I burned the final project with TMPGEnc DVD Author. It was a sucess, it played in my computers dvd player. I tried it in 2 DVD players on my big screen tv; one the video rolled in grey scale, audio was good; the other it just said check disk. I checked the format of the burning and it said UDF/ISO 9660 mode1.
What gives here?? Any suggestions. I tried the DVDX MAker; it did'nt look anything like the one in the guide!

What burning software did you use ?

You need to burn in DVD-Video mode for compatability with standalone players

  3. Rolling in grey scale is a symptom of trying to play PAL content on NTSC only hardware.
