I used the ntsc template in TMPG and the conversion to MPEG went fine and then I cut it with TMPG to 600mb (no bitrate errors like before). That's the good news.

I then used Roxio CDC5 to burn the VCD. Again, no problems.

The bad news is when I put the VCD into my Sony DVP-s530P DVD player, it still says "no disc".

    What next?

Is there a way to use TMPG to burn the VCD and not have to use Roxio CDC5?

    Thanks

If definitely the CDs. CD-RWs work great. CD-Rs don't work on this DVD player.

Does anyone know if "any" CDs defintely work on this player?

Have you done VCD's which require 2 disks for the whole movie. When I do this the first disc works OK but I get a "NoDisc" error in my DVD with the second disc. Is there anything special you need to do when writing the second disc?
