  5. I am having the same problem with my Pioneer 107D. I upgraded to the hacked firmware version 110. Now I cannot upgrade my firmware to the official version 112.

On another point, can anyone help with this problem I am having:-

I have hacked firmware 110 and have tried burning full discs using:

    1. Ritek Orange -R 4x (G04 dye) at 4 x and 8x
    2. Datasafe -R 4x (G04 dye) at 4x and 8x
    3. Ridisc -R 4x (G04 dye) at 4x and 8x
    4. Datawrite Red V2 -R at 4x and 8x
    5. BulkPaq Orange -R 4x at 4x and 8x
    6. Bulkpaq White +R 4x at 4x and 8x

The problem is that none of these will even burn at 4x.....a full disc (4.3gig) takes 20-21 minutes just for the burn process. So my Pioneer 107 is no better than my previous NEC1300a. Am I doing something wrong here? Why is it that others boast of writing at 4x and 8x with a 107 when best I can do seems to be 2.4x????

Go to http://flashman.rpc-1.com and get this file "OFFICIAL_PioneerDVR-107_v1.10_DVRFlash.zip" update the drive then you can use the official 1.12. I'm sure there is an easier way but this way was fast and I worked for me.

  7. I just ran the "OFFICIAL_PioneerDVR-107_v1.10_DVRFlash.zip" update and it said it had failed. Then I ran the v1.12 update from Pioneer and it was successful. So don't let it throw you off if it says it fails, just run the next update and it should be okay....
