Hi, ive been using nero to burn my dvds for over a year now, and never had a problem, i dont know if its something to do with the new version (6.3.1.6) but just recently, everytime i try to do a "dvd copy" of another copy, it just ejects my disc saying this disc is either blank or invalid.
i have tried a few discs and keeps saying the same, it will do them if i do a copy from the actualy writer drive but just not for the dvd-rom any more.

is this a bug in the new version, or is my drive knackered?
the dvd-rom seems to read things ok though, i have played dvds on it and also just put normal data discs in and its been ok, thats what made me wonder wether there is something wrong with the drive or if it was a software based error.

    any opinions would be welcome

    thanks.

    Jay

I had Nero 6 on my machine but scapped it and went back to 5.5.10.42 because of all the quirks like your current adventure. Sorry I can't help you with the Nero problem.

You could answer the "drive knackered" question by using DeCrypter and doing and ISO-READ and an ISO-WRITE to do the copy. That would let your DVD-ROM drive off the hook (if it works).
