DVD Workshop 2, does it re-encode?

I would like to know if I use DVD Workshop 2 with MPEG 2 files, if it re-encodes them even if they are in the correct format?

It gives you the option to leave DVD compliant mpeg files alone.

Yep, its not obvious where it is.

1. Got to Edit
2. Double click on the video in the timeline
3. Then click the Video tab on the top left.
4. At the bottom left there is a check box "convert to disc template" Don't check it if your video is compliant and you don't want DWS to convert it.
