Try frameserving with Virtualdub to TMPGENnc. Here's a guide: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/87270.php

First install the handler by using "aux_setup.exe" in the Virtualdub prgram folder. Start using the guide at "Frameserve AVI with VirtualDub". You're done with the guide once (or if)TMPGEnc starts encoding.

I think I couldn't see the forest for the trees. Try to do this with this program. It is the Virtual Dub MP2 AC3 version.

Ok Tommyknocker, I feel like a complete dumb-ass for asking this but what does "I think I couldn't see the forest for the trees" mean? I've never heard that expression before.

Sorry, I'm showing my age. The saying refers to a reality: The forest is much more than trees. There are animals, streams, plants, rocks, insects, etc. To say this means you see so many symptons, you forget to look at the problem.
    Hello.

Wisdom is timeless, my friend. Thanks for the clarification. I'll have to remember that one.
