I use VirtualVCR a lot for scheduling captures and I think it's a great program. However, I have noticed a minor bug that I want to know if anyone else experiences.
I typically have my Monitor set to turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity (through Windows Power Management). I've noticed that VirtualVCR seems to disable this while it is running and does not restore the settings even after the program has been closed.
While burn in does not seem to be a big issue anymore, I still like to keep the power consumption down. The only way that I've found to restore my Monitor's Power Management Functions is to either reboot the system after a capture or to manually reset the power management functions after every capture (if I do not plan on rebooting).
I'm not sure if the other Power Management functions (disk shut off and standby) are being disabled as well because I don't use them. Is this a legitimate bug or a problem that only effects my computer?
Thanks in Advance,
BG
