buy a tape recorder. 15 hours...probably capturing to .wav.....that's going to be HUGE. Holy Cow....

Is this sound that you are saying, or a 2 way convo, or just sound coming in?

Just a thought here but I can only think of one thing you would have 15 hours of audio for and that would be something like home Surveillance....in any event, I don't know of any software that would do that unless Sonic Foundry or Cool Edit 2000 would do it. If that is what you are trying to do, I would go a different route and use something like modem spy and I would hardware a microphone to the mouthpiece leads, run another phone line into that phone...use a cordless, it's easier to hide and you can wire the base direct to the box with a shorter line and the base doesn't have to be sitting around somewhere...ANYWAY....then I would just turn modem spy on, on the PC and let it run.

Most home phones have 4 wires running into them. You can wire it so that it is just a open handset on the line, meaning the other phone will work normally while the hardwired phone is just a listener (you just hook up 2 wires...I can't remember which 2, but hell there are only 4, I'm sure you can figure it out). If you don't need the house phone...IE, you are not spying on your wife or kids, but just general Surveillance, just hook up the hardwired phone to the main phone line and then place the handset where ever you want it around the house.

    Poor man's spy kit...

We've been through this before. Easy answer: Buy a dedicated time laspe VCR, they are around $300US. Record times up to 72 hours. Made for that purpose, easy to set up and use. Sure, there are other ways, but what is your time worth to set it up? By the way, audio doesn't work well with time laspe.
