  1. Its probably a simple question. Every now and then, I go and delete some files that I don't need...then I try to delete the directory that it was in, but it won't let me. It comes up with some error message (Not sure what it says because its in Japanese) I am sure its something like make sure its not in use or something. Can anybody tell me why?? And how do I go about deleting the directory or file, without having to restart!?

    Hi beavereater,

It's just a "feature" of the excellent Windows O/S - it gets iteslf tied in a knot and results in the error you see. If you can live with it, try again after you restarted the PC the next time you use it.

P.S. I like your user name, made me chuckle. Apologies to any ladies I've just offended...
There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

    Carpe diem.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
